Note: James K Polk is considered by many historians one of the great Presidents. He is the only President to accomplish everything he promised to do before elected. What do you think of his promises?

Manifest Destiny - 1/4
Manifest Destiny changed America and influences the Texan War of Independence and The Mexican-American War as well as the Spanish-American War. You need a good understanding of it.
Assignment: Go to this History Site - HERE to get a brief overview of what Manifest Destiny was. Then I want you to look at the painting on this blog and write a short (5-10 sentence) blog entry on the following:
